Building and decorating firms in Christchurch say work has suddenly and significantly dried up and they want to know why. Joining the panel discussion are: Lester Bryant who runs a Canterbury quantity surveying business, and who set up the group Cantrades – a lobby group of tradesmen and industry organisations in Christchurch; Paul O’Donnell – the managing director of the Canterbury decorating company 0800 We Paint, and; Reid Stiven, manager of the Canterbury Home Repair Programme for EQC.
